This is amazing! The pic is great, and the comments below are fabulous.
I feel this in my soul. My first two snakes were a sand boa and a blood python, neither of which really hold onto you, so it’s easy to just plop them down wherever you need to put them.
Figuring out how to put down a boa who doesn’t want to be put down has been…interesting. Most of the time when I clean her enclosure, I can’t get her into the holding tub I have for her, so she just wraps around my arm and “helps” me clean.
I’m 100% the tegu. Hehe
Lol I am pretty sure that would be a very appropriate mug for me!
Hmmm, he must just be stressed from the lack of hides and enrichment in this enclosure!
I’ve been keeping fish this way for years. He’ll be fine. /s
I bet he needs more UVB and deeper substrate …
Have you checked his humidity recently? I’ve heard this species doesn’t do the best in arid environments.
Talk about “a fish outta water”!
Mom?.. is that you??
Man, the author of that article would be shocked by the size of the land reptiles at my house.
I’d love to see this author meet a retic, or a komodo dragon
Or even a corn snake…hatchling.
