Lol! I got all three from our first trip to Tinley this year! I didn’t know what i was gonna get, I’m gonna be honest. I was up to 1 columbian boa, 1 royal, and a retic. The man was looking for another retic for himself, or a carpet. I’ve had to start a rule for expos of “browse first, make decisions very last”.
Or else i just get carried away! Lol!
So we start. And it’s kinda overwhelming. I was in heaven for sure. And then i saw Falcor. And i broke my rule
I started to leave, and i said no, I’m gonna buy him right now. Rofl.
Later, i saw a moonstone that i also wanted, but put her off. I came back later after we were all done, and watched my moonstone get bought by someone who picked her up just seconds before i could.
The breeder even recognized me and gave me a “I’m sorry” look as dude was paying. I understood tho. I had picked Rayla up as soon as i could to keep from losing her too, from the same breeder lol. He said “i was gonna tell you to just wait cause sometimes the payments don’t go through…” and I was like it’s good, i hope they take good care of her.
And then i was like… well. What if i got something totally different color to go with them? I have the plasma a blk/wht. I need something red! And so, i found and got Nimona. While naming them, it was a sudden realization as both me and the daughter LOVED the movie! It’s still one of my faves. And i said “I’ve got the perfect name for this one!” with excitment, and my girl was like ??? and i said Nimona and she literally went “YESSSS!”

Thank you!! to both of you @emfraise
At first I thought, wow that’s a great rule. I should try it. And then I read the rest of your post and you did NOT help me prepare for my next reptile show! ![]()
It’s always such a bummer when you lose something at the last second of deciding you really do want it. That dang rule! Well, I’m glad you broke it for your plasma boy Falcor. He was totally worth it.
Bit of a photo dump, but here’s the last 4 of the sibling lot!
Sienna, 0.1 Diffused Miami Motley, possible het Cinder
Pretty little lady, notably the most orangey of the group!
Thirteen, 0.1 Diffused Miami Motley possible het Cinder
This girl is easily the smallest of the group, and ended up with her name because her ID in her clutch was 13, I recieved her with her siblings on the 13th, and when I first weighed her, she was only 13 grams!
Thankfully she’s been a good eater for me though, so I’m sure she’ll catch up to the rest of them in no time!
I’ll be hanging on to these two for a little bit to see how they color up, but I get the feeling I’ll likely end up keeping Thirteen and Sienna will be an eventual rehome. Mercury and Cinnabar are for sure keepers!
These last two are unnamed as of yet, since they’ll both be eventual rehomes for sure, but also quite pretty! If it wasn’t a bit much to keep all of them with their similar genetics and being siblings, I would, but I feel like keeping a 1.2 group and rehoming the other 1.2 makes more sense. ![]()
1.0 Miami Motley het Diffused, probable het Cinder
Only other boy of the group, and quite handsome as well! I get the feeling he’ll grow quite nicely, the only reason I chose Mercury as the keeper over him is because Mercury’s patterning is a touch cleaner and more reduced.
And last but not least, the final little girl, also a Miami Motley het Diffused, possible het Cinder
She’s a little cutie for sure, but they all are, honestly!
All 6 have been eating ft pinkies enthusiastically, so here’s hoping they all continue to thrive and grow. I can’t wait to see how they look as they get bigger!
All of those babies have their own sweet attributes and I thought I had picked a favorite but now my favorite is - All Of Them!
It’s such a nice little group anyway! I’m looking forward to seeing future clutches!
Beautiful group!
Definitely a great group. Great photos of them, too! You showed them off really well. I love the belly shot. Those random speckles on there are too cute.
