Lots of corn snake pics

Was at my Vets clinic today picking up feeders today. So I helped my son clean a few cages and took some pictures.

He has lots of corn and rat snakes. I may just have to get one of his corns.

That Fire(?) in pic 11 looks short and stocky. Reminds me of these things that popped up in my collection. Do you know who bred that one?

Love the white sided rat! I wanna get one of those some day. Great corns too!

My vetanerany buddy breeds all his corn snakes himself. He has been breeding corns for as long as I’ve known him. He just keeps them for himself and gives some away to clients and friends.

You should bring it up to him. He might be interested if he’s producing dwarf corns.

Very nice bunch!

Seems like a grand idea. Except, why limit yourself to one?

I don’t want to be greedy as he will give it to me for free, and I do own 1 corn now. His name is Blaze.

So good looking! Is he a borderless Amel? Maybe low expression motley (no belly checkers)? I have a very orange Amel (he has added Buf and het palmetto so that brightens up the orange for sure), but he has noticeable white scales on the borders that create a high-contrast look. Mine reminds me a lot of @caryl’s super peaches, who also have the high-white borders. When I look at your guy, though, I’m not seeing any of those white scales. It’s such a cool look without those white interrupting the oranges. So handsome.

Fwiw, I wouldn’t say that the Peach crew have high white. Some do have visible borders, which will likely narrow as they grow.

But regardless, Tom’s son’s corns are gorgeous.

(no belly checkers)?

He has a little belly checker’s on him.

I don’t know much about corn snake morphs. My Veterinarian friend breeds them just for fun. All he does is put the colored adults he likes together.

This is the parents to my male. The dad is the red one on the left side.

You’re right @caryl I misspoke on the high white. I forgot that’s a term used for reverse Okeetee snakes with thick borders. My buf guy just has small white borders of scales, too, but definitely visible white among all that orange. Not that anything is right or wrong with that, just different. I find the borderless pattern fascinating because it’s not really defined as an official morph.

So interesting that I can see the white scales on the dam, but not the sire. Really pretty snake you have there. Love it!
