@shadowspiderjack he also wouldn’t be a bloodred as he is just a diffused. A bloodred is a diffused, masque, and red factor or some other red enhancing gene.

And tbh I find the definition of the bloodreds quite confusing. People explain them to be many different things. Some people say it a combo of genes while others are saying its just selectively bred.
That’s what I thought.

Hooray for successful locks! 
Ember managed to lay her first egg last night but she hasnt layed any since and its been almost 12hrs now. Im not too sure if theres anything i should do or just wait and see if she can get the rest out.
It can take a bit longer. I’d give her another 12 hours before checking again. 
Okay sounds great! But for now ive got 1 egg in incubation!
Now im starting to get rather confused. Ember had her pre-lay shed 2 weeks ago now and laid 1 egg last night but hasnt laid any since. I can see a few more in her but it looks like shes going back into shed now? Is this anything to worry about?
It’s strange. She was a little late laying, and this shed phase is coming as if she laid on time. I’d still give her overnight, I think.
