The male cinny you think is the father is a weird and cool looking cinny! I guess it could be the het sunset influence, but by the blaze and distorted pattern by the tail and all the flames and colors I am wondering if it is a yb complex itself! Which is kinda weird because the baby we are trying to id almost has a super asphalt look to it in the side pattern, and with the blaze and almost ringer, all the washed out pattern and flames it is definitely a yb. I would send a shed in if the cinny male to see if it has any yb complex in it! I don’t know how “strong” a het sunset animal would be visually, but maybe that’s what is interacting with the yb and calico even more? Still stumped on exactly what it is, very interesting and frustrating little one to id!!
Thats a great idea and it will atleast eliminate or prove something. Hopefully sunset will be able to be tested soon. I wasnt going to even try to prove it till i got a cinny 100 het sunset female and they had some of the same markers or similar so i figured wth and now going crazy trying to id this beautiful animal. I m not complaining either way because i know its possibly one of a kind. Also yes id say the cinny was the sire because i got 2 cynical babies and not anything with pastel.
What sucks and we all complain about it, is that i cant capture in these pics of the true color pallet it has. Hopefully it sheds out in a few days and maybe it will tell us more. But im so glad yall are helping with whatever insight u can on this little girl. No matter she is staying put, but i think i gotta repeat this pairing and see the results and maybe get more answers while this girl grows up.

Wow, what a beautiful het sunset! He’ll absolutely prove, honestly het sunset is a beautiful gene on its own. I’ve been working on a document on sunset being inc dom, which might be controversial (not sure, I don’t really keep up with that at this point 
) but at least I hope it’ll be helpful to people

Thanks and this clutch has surpassed what i expected from it. Plus i have to double check but pretty sure i got mainly females out of this clutch which was 1.4. Plus i just seen that i could test for het sunset or visual sunset so that should put everything to rest on the bright orange hatchling. Im really hoping its sunset but no matter what she is staying put.

Not at the moment. I need to send her shed in to get tested. I just havent got around to it unfortunately. But she is getting little darker and brighter oranges are poping up after every shed. For sure she is a Pinstripe Calico Cinny Yellowbelly. I did reach out to Brock Wagner to see if he may shed some light on whats in her and he said he doesn’t see sunset from the photos i sent him. But also said to get her tested, so that will be my next step. But ill post some of the most recent photos i took after her last shed. Thanks for asking and sorry for the huge delay.
