New baby corn snake

Well at hubby insistance we have a name. “Carl”. Since he graciously let me have a second snake i agreed to Carl. Lol. I do thinks its cute. Hubby says its easier to say than caramel. Ha (he has some speech issues from a stroke) .

Ok everyone no laughing. I think i might change Crals name to popcorn. Hes getting more yellow on his back and looks like hes got popcorn all over. Lol. Yes you can actually laugh. I changed every one of my rwptiles names at least once.

No shade from me about name changes. I don’t change the animals’ names. My family has shifted pets’ names the past whether I agreed or not. :laughing: When we were updating a cat’s info with the microchip company a while back, I had clean forgotten what name they had for him. “Raja” didn’t last long at all.

Lol heck, at least when you change the snake’s name, it doesn’t matter to the snake. Not like Carl needs to relearn, “Heel, Popcorn.” :rofl: :joy:

Love the name Popcorn for him!

I typically don’t rename my pets…but sometimes it takes me weeks or months to settle on a name. So any new animals of mine are usually “the new baby” for a while until they get a real name. :joy:
