Hi, I was given this snake by a family friend but do not know what morph he is. Very distinct bright yellow/gold color and a very beautiful snake.

He could be so many different things. Since Ball Pythons have a plethora of mutations and combos you’ll find a bunch that look similar. He could be a firefly, or??? lol

It is also helpful to provide what morphs the parents were if you have that information
At a minimum I feel pretty comfortable saying your animal has Pastel, but given how clean it looks there is possibly something else in there
