Show Off Your Cresties 🤩

(deleted…)

I’m quite angry about the whole thing. :unamused:

Oh hell no!!
I’d of named and shamed and shown evidence of the messages, the gecko didnt grow, and to then be so rude to say take it now or come yourself or only half of the money back???
Ok no. No one asks that much for a deposit for 1!!
How dare someone speak to someone like that, especially if a known breeder… Shouldn’t be going it.

Oh that’s angered me too

There’s 1 here couriers won’t even let ship with them and it all got put out there why.
Safe to say a lot stay away now I’ve noticed.

Your friend is too nice :heart:

Yeah. Won’t be supporting that breeder again ever.
And both me and my friend will be more careful next time.

I don’t understand what has happened but I know we can’t name & shame on here (can send as pm though)

Does anyone know if lavender is recessive, dominant or other?

@lmr_lmreptiles

I’ll tag him.

But I mean they pop out randomly so…
Mine (Tiny) was from my extreme pair.
But seems I also have one from my red extreme tri to tri also… and pos a few others growing on…

An extreme pair that didn’t show the lavender colour visually? Means it’s some kind of recessive. Or if it can be ā€œhiddenā€ in other colours.

People say you can breed lavender into yellow and reds to make them more bright, does that change in brightness show in the first generation? If so, it should be a incomplete-dominant gene?

Thing is darker based can also be lavs.
Lmr can help, it’s something I’m still working on as now have some to keep and breed.

Haise the dad does have a pale lav ish colour when fired down,
But so does Dolly my extreme tri Dalmatian so will see if anything comes from her.
But black (hypo) produce them anyway obviously as that’s how they came about if I remember rightly…

Yes you can, that’s what we will be doing here!
Tiny will go to kj for more lavs and Naruto most likely for brighter reds!
And the male will go to yellow
Also working towards pinks with them and eventually blues… that’s a waiting game though to see true pinks etc

I listened to the ā€œHypomelanism and Lavenderā€- video again, turns out it’s incomplete dominant.

Seems to be a pain in the a** to actually find one that isn’t mislabeled. I wish there was some kind of tell tale sign, like when they are babies or something. Like ā€œlavender is always born this colorā€.

Maybe one day when I move into a bigger house I can have a lavender.

I wish.
If you saw Tiny when she was born or my ā€˜red’.
Wouldn’t have a bloody clue! She was brown! And he was an amazing red! :joy:

Considering buying this girl. Owner cant confirm male or female. Doesnt have a weight, and no idea on age… pics make her look about the size of my three year old female… i asked her to take a pic of her undercarriage… i dunno, id like opinions if shes got decent structure and would he a worthwhile addition to my group?
