Show Off Your Cresties 🤩

If no known weight and age, I’d stay away anyway,
Why don’t they know?….

Also any better side pics as I see a slight bulge.

Shes at work so intermittent info. I did ask her to taoena pic of the nether regions when she got home. I REALLY dont need another male.

Goodness me, it’s been a long while. Work has been busy busy busy.

But now we are on break!

Matt built shelves for the beardies, and it looks so nice.

Top is Hershey. Not sure who the bottom one is. :woman_facepalming:t2:

Tiny looks ADORABLE as a frog butt. Still so tiny but the bum is healed and they’re doing well! Greeted themselves out of Matt’s hands a few nights ago, and it was a nerve-wracking few minutes as he scrambled to find them. Feets are back to normal!

The OG Frogbutt babies are growing every time I see them. They’re so funny to watch.

We do have an awful lot of slow growers. All still eating well. Just small. Also very active. I hear them all jumping at night and it’s like a party. :joy:

Awww, it must be fun to hear them every night
I just love the evenings when they wake and start getting active. I have slow growers too. But was told not to worry, it’s winter and all, so…

Abbeys frog butt and adorable feet

She looks grumpy, but is just sleeping in her new favourite plant.

Last pic is Queen Bee taking a moss-bath.

It’s such a relaxing sound once they get going. Almost like a rain machine. :joy:

Head structure is okay (not great though) from what I can see in the pic.

If pet only then this could be a great pet but I’d suggest You get more info from the seller still. Could be as young as 6 months or as old as 4 years as they all grow at different rates. If they can confirm weight, that might help with the sex.

Not sure I’d buy for a breeding project without a lot more info though

Queen Bee looks like she’s making a deposit

I have a few Cresties that grow slowly, usually the winter months, then they gain lots of weight in the summer.

Insects helps them grow and several of my Cresties decide they don’t want insects often in the winter months! It’s a pain as I always bulk buy!

I still have lots of Wax worms left over :woman_shrugging:

I love the confetti & chilli baby the most. I’ve looked at spots from that seller, but I’ve decided to hold out for a lavender :crossed_fingers:

Got the chilli confetti from Christine’s cresties, there’s a lot of breeders with red spot variations ready to breed this year so hoping to get an interesting group for 2023.

I’ve been watching the lmr videos on lavender and other genetic variations, really interesting but I’m going to wait a few years for things to be proven out before purchasing any other morphs.

@ghoulishcresties SO EXCITED! Are you out of work, yet?

I found some older pictures of Tiny when they hatched. Matt had to assist in the hatching.

The top of Queen Bee in her little basket full of moss and substrate (didn’t find anything egg-like). Too young, maybe. She’s 10 months old, 30grams.
The underside of Queen Bee hanging on the glass. She has the most beautiful head and dorsal. Can’t get enough of her.

Maybe she’s just practicing. She has a great head structure and looks gorgeous

You say assist, what did you have to do?

Haha!
Just waiting for the shed to be off before I make a thread :smirk:

I’ve had to assist many babies who couldn’t hatch themselves too, so glad I did though

Tiny was half out the egg when we came home and seemed to be stuck. Matt had to very gently help them out of the egg. We actually had to do a massage to make sure Tiny was all right. We weren’t sure if they were breathing. He managed to get the egg open very gently to get the rest of Tiny out.

This was after a DOA so we were afraid Tiny had met the same fate. You can see how far Tiny was out of the egg by all the dirt.

Naturally I was a nervous wreck the whole time because of all the egg anatomy, but here we are.
