I can imagine.
We helped 2 ball pythons when hatching. Both made it out of the egg, but one died a few weeks later, itās so intense!

Got some of newbies shed off. And misted lots again, poor thing probably hates me with all the misting!⦠But Not much more!
Tonight she gets cgd, crickets and wax worms
We shall see what takes her fancy!
Oooo, hopefully she wonāt be fussy
Gingerbread Latte has lost 2 grams and tummy isnāt as plump anymore (she got some rolls)⦠But I canāt find any eggs! She seems fine in herself.
Either she is unbelievably great at hiding eggs, simply fat, or sheās secretly still hiding them! Either way Iām stumped
Hereās one I booked some months ago, now ready to move from the breeder. 4,6 grams. Great lineage on this one too, father from Crimson Cresties (I adore their geckos). Another red harli , breeder said possibly tricolor.
I think the red and the cream goes so well together.
So small How old now?
Unsure on the red, defo wait til older to determine, assuming parents were reds though?
But yes to Triclour, my fav
Hereās hoping!
Sheās already had some cgd, I always show them when they first get here and watch them eat a bit and seems to like the mix I do thankfully
Or sheās just dropped a bit of weight, she may be on a dietā¦
Have you got plants on the bottom?ā¦
Yeah, they are red tricolours. I know this might turn dark brown with age, but for now Iām going to enjoy the reddish-ness
Born in november.
Touch wood then!
Yeah the perks of reds⦠though some stay lush!
Ooooh bless, little bit of a slow grower then, get that boy/girl on some crickets
And I mean the wax worm treat never hurt anyone⦠my lot had them tonight
Theyāll all have Tubby bellies tomorrow
Very cute tricolour. Hopefully it stays red for you
Yes she has 2 plants at the bottom but I pulled them up (carefully) to check and no eggs.
She hasnāt eat insects for a few months now, but this is usual for her this time of year and sheās eating CDG, a little more than usual. I thought I felt eggs in her tummy & shed verb digging recently, she weighs 54g, maybe she needed a big ā¦
I think sheās just a chunky lady!
First time I havenāt had to move Milkyway from sleeping in a weird position
He is such a gorgeous gecko!
Oh my⦠milkyway is so prettyš.
I just found solid pool noodles from a friend on amazon, and i am STOKED for them to arrive.
Thanks, heās certainly one of my favourites, although I donāt know if he did his job with the ladies! I hope for a mini Milkyway but soft scaleš¤
He just likes to sleep in silly positions
Good luck with the pool noodles. Iāve only ever seen ones that bend, hence why I went for pipe insulation I originally bought them in lock down as I couldnāt get hold of anything else, but they are amazing!
I have them in the breeding enclosure, plus with some other Cresties and I plan to use them in the baby enclosures, when I eventually get round to doing them, no eggs yetā¦so no rush
Wait⦠what do you mean āones that bendā? Like, not very āstiffā? I dont want tonput somrthing in any enclosures that may fall and cause harm to my littke dudes and dudettes.
Wow, can you even imagine!?
I think they are made in a similar way, but my kids use noodles for swimming and they bend more easily than pipe insulation plus I found pipe insulation is cheaper (in UK anyway) and is available in different thickness
I gotcha⦠makes sense. Im gonna try it out and will see how it goes. With these being soild thru the middle, i imagine theyāll be less ābendyā but i suppose we will see!
Hopefully they will work for you. I find the pipe insulation easy to cut to size, hopefully you will be able to do so with yours too.
