Here is my New 4/5 month old Cresty, im still trying to get use to the Morphs and would like to know what this Morph is unless its to early to tell.
He/She is still unnamed as we have only had it now for a couple of days and not made our mind up with it not being sexed yet.

Red harlequin Pin dash, assuming that’s its colour and not the lighting

Looks like it’s the lighting rather than the colouring of the gecko, but hard to tell
I don’t think the lighting is doing much if I’m honest as I do have a photo that the previous owner sent to me when I was enquiring.

tbh after just comparing both that photo and mine, I’m honestly thinking that maybe another Cresty! as some of the markings aren’t matching up! but the colour and pattern is the same. lol

Yeah the pic you were sent isn’t the Crestie you got

I have to admit, they don’t look the same

Just asked the previous owner and apparently it’s another photo he sent me! At the time I did not think it was the same Cresty but it’s just because it’s fired down he said. The markings are the same too.
I guess it’s possibly the same gecko as they do change as they grow.
Your cresties has portholes, white dots along the laterals. These usually don’t chance. Best bet would be to use those as a guide
Defo not the same cresties, the dashes and back markings aren’t the same.

Even base of tail, the one on write has literally 1 scale either side of white. Yours doesn’t x
Well he sent me a few photos and I just assumed it was that one because of the colour, I had recently asked him and he said it’s the last photo I shared I just didnt think it’s would look so fire down like that but when I have looked closer they do seem to match.
Even the head stamp looks different

Yeah I agree, and if you look at back markings, the lines going across etc too and where the pin dashes are, none match up.
No I mean this photo is the one he recently sent me and I have had a close look and I think this is the right photo lol
Either way it doesn’t look like the gecko in the original pic
Here are some pics of Vanilla. She did really well in her first season last year and maintained good weight

Thx, she’s not fully fired either!
I love getting cresties small because I can watch them grow, but I have to say I do prefer them as adults.
I’m sure it won’t be long for yours get big
I’m giving Vanilla a few years off. Mostly because I want to see how long she retains sperm and partly because I love the pairing
I so cannot decide which baby will stay
This season will be harder to choose from too

Thx, I’m hoping for offspring with similar patterning, but no luck so far
