Finally managed to get a picture of Ivy, the female P. grandis we got a little while back. I never seem to have my phone out when I’m around her enclosure. She’s now at my wife’s workplace as the mascot for the outdoor education program.

And wickedly smart! She bolted out of the enclosure one day when I was spraying it down. Thankfully no damage done and we got her safely back inside. Now she will watch us and if you open the door just a crack she watches for that opportunity again. So we generally do upkeep in the morning when she’s still hidden and asleep.

Here is the logo for the program.

The day after we got her in the mail, the director changed the logo to an orange background with a blue lizard…so now she want s williamsi male!
