Two more cute little girls out! Bedlam and Mayhem!
Hullabaloo, a lovely little lava boy, is out. He does unfortunately have one kink mid-body. But he seems robust and healthy so far. Normal movement and behavior. So we’ll see how he does. It’s thankfully past the heart area and he’s a boy, so no worry about him ever having to move eggs past it.
Awwww. I think he’ll be ok.
Such a nice clutch. Beautiful!
One more lava tessera, this one a female, named Kerfuffle. I love how clean her stripe is on the lower half.
The best name in the best theme for the best one in the clutch so far.
Ha, thanks! I thought it was a fun name.
Getting down to the last few babies emerging now. Here’s Cataclysm, female lava tessera. She has vermiculite and dried egg fluid on her head, but I can tell she has a really nice head pattern underneath that. Can’t wait to see it after her shed.
The names for this clutch are killing me, Olivia!
I don’t know which of these dangerous babies is my favorite. They look amazing. Kerfuffle’s clean markings kind of belie her name, haha. What a doll - but then they all are.
Hopefully Hullabaloo makes it all right. You’re right, at least he’ll never have to worry about eggs.
Such lovely eye candy.
Very nice indeed! Has everybody pipped?
Yes. Just waiting on the last one to come out.
That’s good. It is always something of a relief to me to see the final little face in each clutch.
Definitely. Now we’ll have a few weeks of relative calm before the next clutch starts hatching! Next up is Midas and Lark’s clutch - Golddust stripe with no listed hets bred to an ultramel tessera with a bunch of hets and pos hets.
Those lava Tesseras are soooo pretty… Man I wish I could have snakes rn
Aw, what’s stopping you?
The people I live with lol.
Hopefully I can move out and dedicate more space to these beautiful critters… I’ve certainly been waiting long enough!
Ah, yup, that can definitely be a bit of a road block! Well, hopefully one day soon!
