Little Frenzy is probably just like, “Didja see how good I am at burrowing? Didja?” meanwhile you’re just basking in the relief that he’s found! That’s awesome, glad he showed back up seemingly none the worse for wear after a nice wash and a drink. Best possible ending to his adventure.
Haha, I’m sure. I doubt he learned his lesson at all!
Oh my goodness I am so glad you found him! He looks great too! The frenzy is over looking for Frenzy! It’s just mind boggling where these little critters can turn up!
A couple of babies with first meals. I ran out of small pinkies, so I ordered a ton more, but the large pinkies I have would just be way too big for these small babies in the lavender clutch. My order won’t be here until next week, but I really didn’t want to make them wait that long. So pinkie heads it is! The two smallest from the clutch ate without issue. The rest don’t seem interested yet (could be because I offered heads), but I went ahead and reheated them and am leaving them overnight.
They are so pretty Olivia! So glad they ate for you!
Yay! I find that runts are usually eager to catch up.
These babies are just so sweet! I’m glad a couple more ate for you. That’s always wonderful.
First feeds for the lava clutch. Only 6 out of 14 have taken their initial offerings, but I’ll leave the rest overnight. Frenzy, the little adventurer, must have worked up an appetite because he was happy to eat right away!
And Hullabaloo, the one with the kink, also ate right away without hesitation. Hopefully he’ll digest it okay, but I think he should be fine.
A few of the others who ate, in yellowish nighttime lighting!
They are all super sweet Olivia! I am glad they are eating! At least some of them anyway!
Love these guys!
Yay for full tummies! Maybe you will get a couple more of those overnight.
A new clutch is pipping today! Golddust stripe x Ultramel tessera with hets. Day 72! They really made me wait.
About time!
Hooray for pippies! Never do get tired of saying that, either! How many in this clutch?
Hooray! Can’t wait to see pics!!!
Just 11 good eggs, not a huge clutch. I think the mom’s pos het caramel has proved out. I think I’m seeing some yellow/brown in a few of the noses!
First baby is out! After dealing with so many 4 to 6 gram babies this year, I’m absolutely shocked at this massive 9 gram baby! Here’s Glisten, a male ultra or ultramel tessera. I will take a closer look at the eyes and overall coloration of these babies after their sheds to hopefully get some idea of who is ultra and who is ultramel.
And also this beautiful girl. Ultra caramel tessera or golddust tessera. Even bigger! 9.5 grams! I could probably start this clutch on large pinkies!
Shimmer:
He is a stunner Olivia!!!
