The ‘Blue Ghost’ Project

We have this project and have worked it into Hypo and Pied - It is not tied to the Hypo gene at all and is a dominant trait.

I honestly am very surprised the morph doesnt really exist on MM yet. Theres alot of interest, but the project doesnt seem to have hit the market yet

The photo of this snake shows up a lot when I open this app and I hope one of these days we can get an update because it’s a drool-worthy snake imo

The original post was over six years ago and we haven’t seen these on the market. That’s all the proof I need that they don’t exist. It’s super easy to edit images to your liking.

There’s been a few that randomly pop up…
But they do not look like that first photo which is very manipulated. They will be more of a pale slate grey color.
Bob Vu was working the project for a while, but from what I have heard he may have sold off the animals because it was something that could not reliably be reproduced.
When they have turned up it seems like a seemingly normal animal will change color at maturity. It’s not something that you see at hatching. It could at this point just be a floating polygenic trait in collections that needs line breeding. Most BP breeders do not linebreed and only work with reliably passing mutations.

Most of the breeders that had animals in this thread seem to have gotten out of the ball python circles. The Maryland exotics animal you are asking about was said above to have lent the animal to another collection who went no contact after.
