So far the start of our 2023 season has been going decently. We’ve gotten locks on nearly all of the females I’m wanting to breed.

This should be obvious, but please do not edit this wiki — this is for me to more easily share my progress throughout the 2023 season and keep it neat and organized!

Oreo was not originally my first choice, but Lemonfrost (banana female maker fire VPI axanthic) wasn’t showing much interest in breeding.
Some zebrabees would be nice too though, so I’m not complaining.

First ovy of the season! Lucy is being an overachiever and being our first girl to go this year again. She did the same last year, but I had missed her ovulation. Trying to be more attentive to the girls this year!

Yeah, I wasn’t checking on the girls as much last season, but I prefer having a known schedule so trying to check on them more often.

She’s a pastel super mojave, paired to Zenith, a pastel ghi! Mainly going for ghi mojave babies! I love their looks and it’d be cool to produce my own instead of just buying one.

Solaris will likely be the next to ovulate, just a matter of waiting for it to happen

Out of all of my pairings it seems I’ll only be getting 4 clutches — Lucy, Solaris, Kat, and Helena — Lucy of course already being gravid and the other three developing follicles.

What looks to be an ovulation from Kat — not much tail suck going on at all though.
I checked on her much later and the swelling seems to have had gone down, so likely an ovy!

Solaris on the other hand is going into her prelay shed.

Lucy as of a few days ago looking cute as heck, definitely very gravid now and should be due to lay in the next several days.

I’m not sure if this is an ovy, she looks massive — I’m not seeing any obvious tail suck and she’s been sitting on the cool side. I suppose if the swelling goes down and she starts hugging the heat I’ll know for sure if it was an ovy

The first picture was taken a little over 24 hours ago, the second two taken just now. It almost seems like she got even lighter in color
