I have another take on this, no one will actually care where the parents came from, besides verifying genetics. If someone wants a NERD snake, they buy from NERD. Doesn’t matter if both your snakes came from NERD. How you raise, take care of, and present your animals is what matters.

I will caveat this: With balls, no one really cares, as Matt notes. However, with some other species; carpets, chondros, etc., there is a very large emphasis on parentage.
