Lol if I had even one of all the creatures I find fascinating and appealing; I would have to have an actual zoo, plus an aquarium. At least.
I haven’t bought it yet, but I’ve been thinking A LOT lately about getting a carpet chameleon. I don’t know, what do y’all think? I’ve been watching a lot of Frank Payne and listened to the Chameleon Academy podcast about them and they seem really tempting. I even have an enclosure lying around that would be perfect for one.
I have heard good things about them but I can’t add to their personal care and stuff like that. I think a few users on here have had them in the past so you might be in luck if you post a topic about them.
There will be an update to this thread by the end of the week. Care to venture a guess?
New boa maybe?
I’ve decided the carpet chameleon is a definite thing. May have to wait a while before I’m able to get one, but I’ve started getting the enclosure together. Today I made a background of foam and some branches, over the holidays I will get some more work done on it. The enclosure will be bioactive so I wanna give it lots of time to settle in and become an ecosystem before adding the chameleon. Plus it will just be a while before CBB carpet chameleons become available on the market again.
Are you finally getting bullsnake?
Exciting! I think chameleons are pretty awesome to look at. I just can’t make myself own one because of the fact their lifespans are so short. It just makes me sad.
Why yes! Yes it is!
Not yet, but maybe next year.
Look up Frank Payne on YouTube. He has a great video on their husbandy!
Oh yeah, I’ve watched that video. It was one of the things that convinced me.
Oh wow, look at that, I was spot on!
She is pretty special. And will be my final “large” snake. At least for quite awhile.
Yes, I love her too David . Happy that she is going to you. Give her a wonderful life .
Aw man I thought you were gonna take the plunge and get a retic this time……!
But boas are the very best!
Retics are off the table. We simply do not have enough space for one. And I can only keep three boas, due to space restrictions. But tarantulas dont take up much room, so…
Congrats David👍
Ah yes! Always room for T’s!
Oh, nice! Congrats, David!
