What new reptiles have you bought recently? 2.0

Right??! This kinda thing always annoys the heck out of me. Why should any landlord care about what some call tank pets? My corn snakes are never gonna claw a wall or tear up flooring.

What’s this beauty? Must know more!

Yep, might as well call each fish inside of a fish tank a pet too :stuck_out_tongue:

Hopefully a future breeding male  i wanted calico to work with, and for 300$ this lad looked like an absolute steal. Ill need to be careful with the cini in the future as i have a black pastel male ill be breeding too, so will need to make sure i dont breed their offspring together if they have the cini / black pastel. If im correct i believe they react negatively with eachother for increased health defect risk.

I have said exactly the same thing. Rental agreements, HOAs, etc. Just ridiculous. Also, though it’s a bit of an aside, the size of the pet mammals should matter. One of my daughters has worked in housing and the amount of damage done by, say, a rat terrier doesn’t compare to that done by a theoretical Labrador. I’m a dog lover, all breeds; In not dissing big dogs. Just saying that the stupid anti-pet clauses are just stupid.

He’s absolutely gorgeous! I hope he grows up to make beautiful babies for you.

Yeah, I know super cinny and super black pastels run the risk of kinking and duckbills, so I’d imagine a black pastel cinny would also have that risk as well.

Awwww. Petco has a current killer deal on beardie Zoomed 40 gallon habitat kits (you’ll have to amend, of course) – normally $280 for $120 if available at your locale. They will match online, but make sure they apply 20% discount after sale price by putting into online cart.

Edit: It’s actually only about $110 US with cart discount. You don’t have to purchase online at all for match - but you must insist that the cashier at brick and mortar put the item into the online cart to receive additional discount for guaranteed match.

Updated pictures with a fresh shed! She’s looking great now :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

He comes with an enclosure that webwill probably turn into a bioactive, a 40 breeder front opening.

Sweet, that sounds way better! [The last thing I want to do is to promote Petco, but I was mighty tempted to cannibalize the kit for parts IF it was available at my location & figured you’d have many more parts to use given the beardie factor, so I gave a shout out!]

And for my new herp I’d like to share: I got a gorgeous new baby/yearling Cali king about a month ago. He’s crisp black & white, a bit shy & a good ways to go to catch up size wise as a slow starter, but still all Cali with overall personality. He’s half mosaic and half 50/50 and is nothing short of stunning. His side markings act as a virtual reverse mirror to his dorsal markings - and is possibly one of a visual kind, not that that matters to me.

His name is Vincent (“to conquer”) Vanguard (“the forefront”) and I utterly adore him. Alas, I cannot photograph his beauty - I’m in the ice age as far as computer hardware/software goes & have no cell reception where I live, and no camera capacity at all. But hey, y’all can read & I shouldn’t feel like I shouldn’t share just cuz I’m severely techno-handicapped, eh?

I love the pattern on him. You got a theme or anything in mind for his name?

well, I thought it should be something simple and easy to pronounce but not silly, I thought pluto or mars would be good names

Both are good names, since you like solar system names and given his colour, what about Venus Jupiter or Saturn?

Ooh I like Jupiter a lot!
