Is this pairing for double hets or are they already het for each other? Those strawberry sides on the VPI girl
I’ve seen Moonglow and Sunglow boas on here/other posts on MM Community, but these don’t seem to have sections in the actual MM purchase area for Boas. Are these newer morphs that don’t have a tab yet, or do they go by another name in the market?
Moonglows are so pretty, I’d love to be able to see pricing for them.
Typically you’ll see them under albino in MorphMarket .
Just making some hypo jungles dh red panther vpi and mattstel sterling
There is a ton of boas for sale on the marketplace but it does help to know what you are looking for genetically.
Go to Browse, then Boa, Boa Constrictor and that’s basically the home page for all the different morphs and localities in the marketplace.
For moonglow look under Albino (Kahl). If you only want to see Kahl strain moonglows, sunglows and Double and Triple hets; use the filter and add hypo and also anerytheristic (Type 1) to the traits box.
I filled out the filter for you to help you see how it works. You can view Moonglows, Sunglows and Hets for those here:
*Do click on the filter tab in the top right area, so you can see how I narrowed it down in the “traits” box so you can search more specifically on your own.
If your goal is an all white boa, check out Super Fires. You’ll find them under the Fire section in Boa Constrictors.
Good luck on your hunt
You guys are so helpful, thank you!
All these names, often several names for one trait, can get tricky. Especially when I mix ball python and boa morphs up bc of name similarities.
Y’all are the best!
I am in love with him! I can’t wait to get an IMG Anery Motley of my own. They are such beautiful snakes.
Thanks @lumpy !
It took us about 2 years of dreaming to finally get him so keep moving forward and don’t give up.
You got the Sterling Anery you wanted, you’ll get an Anery IMG, too!
He’s a 2020 and is thickening up well for breeding this Fall.
He’s got a date with our Ghost Aztec Jungle girl!
Thats one reason why youll find many boa morphs are not “named” something special and they are simply named what they are genetically, so I can see why you got confused.
Kahl/anery/hypos were around back when there were so few boa morphs, made up names were easy to remember as there wasnt very many. Now theres so many combos and strains it would be hard to “name” every one and not get questioned what the genetics are every time anyways.
A few more updated photos.
Narcissus - 2018 male Cypress Creek x Parson Guyana Boa Constrictor. Check out those peaks!
Narcissus 2.0 - 2020 male Parson Ladder Tail Guyana. I absolutely love his color and pattern.

Ladon - 2012 male Argentine. This is a rare photograph of him sitting still. He is by far my darkest Argentine. I’m hopeful about getting a litter from him this year. He looks small in this photo but he is actually 7 feet.
Love the head stripe on Emmit.
The Argentine is nice but I like your Guyana’s better. Can’t decide which one I like best.
@flrt-dennis Emmit is choice!
@tommccarthy Argentines will always be my favorites, but Narcissus 2.0 is one of my favorite non-occidentalis. I can’t wait to see him put on some size. I had intended to sell Narcissus (the older one) one Narcissus 2.0 was ready to breed, but he has developed so nicely that I am starting to think about acquiring an additional female and keeping him indefinitely.
Around the first cold fronts of the year I will introduce males for a few days at a time to see if they court. So far two have started! Sterling x vpi junglow
@tommccarthy thank you, that’s the first thing i noticed.
@westridge I appreciate that. I can’t wait to add an Argentine to the collection one day. I’ve never seen an Argentine as dark as yours.
I’m hoping Ladon’s significant other will give me some babies this year. She looks totally different from him, lots of white and contrast. Their past offspring seem to always favor one parent strongly, rather than coming out in between.
This is her, name’s Hesperis
This is a 2020 female holdback from them. Definitely looks like Hesperis more and more with every shed.
Im a fan of a dark snake with bright white contrast. I wish i had pictures of the pair i had, stunners.
