Annelie had her post-lay shed. She looks good, seems to feel fine. She happily grabbed her mousie and is snuggled up to digest. Hooray for healthy mamas!

Well, I’m not about to argue. They truly are gorgeous, actually lavender Lavenders with those lovely pinky mauvey silvery colors happening, too. Super sweet, as well.

It’s lay day for Narcissa! It’s only Day 32 post-lock, so she’s one of my quicker-laying mamas. I guess 16 is my lucky number this season. Like Annelie, Narcissa produced 16 perfect, huge eggs. She still had 3 to go in the image with her and the eggs. She’s all done now and enjoying a rest. I’ll offer a wee meal tomorrow.

Thanks! You’re getting ahead of me, though. I try not to get too excited until I’m sure there are eggs. I’m not usually very successful in the not-getting- excited, but I try. 
Purple Wonder scarfed down her meal in record time today. She’s certainly got an expectant mama’s appetite.
