Well, Dan sent (fuzzy) pictures. He believes she got them all out. Somehow there are only nine. Here are the pics. Purple Wonder was lying on top of the best box this morning. She certainly doesn’t seem very shrunken. 
Don’t know how these will do but hopefully okay.

Sorry for delay, didn’t have that answer until this evening. Dan said that he doesn’t feel any lumps. He also didn’t see any eggs passed. Not sure what’s happening but she seems to be her normal self as far as he can tell. I’ll take it!

I’m holding my breath to see all these little eggies and mamas are safe and sound. Are you home to double check all of Dan’s “snake doula” observations?

I’m home. Well, I’m actually at the eye doctor and about to be dilated but I do need to do a quick update.
Looks like Truffles & Bragi’s clutch is progressing fine. They’ll hit 60 days on July 4th. I caught the faintest whiff of bell peppers last night so they’re coming along. Linette & Beau’s clutch is also proceeding along, great veins, movement visible.
The other clutches, well. Jubilee and Peredur have two beautiful eggs and one which is still iffy. Purple Wonder and Galahad have a single fantastic egg and three which are questionable but have veins. The huge but poorly calcified clutch from Twist and Excalibur now has four which look great, one which looks iffy. Had to toss the rest.
Mamas mostly look good. Twist has passed most of her problems. She has one lump but she has moved it along to where it’s now down right by her vent. Her appetite or heat and she’s having swim time. The vet and I expect she’ll pass it with her next meal which is today.
Gotta go get my eyes fuzzed out, lol. Thanks for checking on my babies!

I…do growing snake eggs normally smell like bell peppers?? Is this a sign of good health?

They start smelling like green bell peppers when they’re close to hatching! I crave that smell every year. It’s so weird.

In other past, current and future news, back in March I had tried a couple of couples who didn’t ever seem to actually lock. While I was away (no shade to Dan in this), Revel laid an unexpected clutch. She was last with her (apparently successful) prospective mate in March. She didn’t seem noticeably gravid. It had been over 60 days so I didn’t think about warning Dan. She didn’t have a nest box. He didn’t realize she had laid for a couple of days and despite efforts at rehydration, I’m pretty sure they’re all lost. There were only 13, and I think they’d been good. The male is Taliesin, a 2yo from Olivia @solarserpents .
Revel had a post-lay shed. Since she still seems to be in fine shape, and since the darned females seem determined to double clutch whether they are paired or not, I decided to put the pair together again. Maybe this time the second clutch will be the charm. Both parents are even prettier in real life. The lighting here is washing them out.

Hopefully second time is the charm for a clutch from those two! Taliesin makes me excited to see how Barney is going to grow up.
