I’m so happy to report that immediately after he was cleared from quarentine, my now-rehomed crabby meshed with the herd (??) of hermies in the 120 gallon bioactive and has even made a BEST FRIEND

My Kirby is in the reddish shell, and has bonded very strongly with the cowprint shell boy here in these pics
While still so bittersweet, this proves to me this was the right choice for his happiness long term

Dema my Grammostola pulchra just got an enclosure upgrade! She didn’t really need it but she likes to be out and about a lot so i figured she might like the extra space. The only negative i saw about given them a large enclosure is that they may not be able to find their food, and i feed her out of tweezers so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Yes it is lol! I just used a soldering iron to add more ventilation and put something on the lid to prevent escaping

That’s what I did with mine but you can buy specially made clips for that exact enclosure on Etsy. I will see if I can find them for you and add a link.

This guy/gal is really loving life right now. Very energetic after the molt too. Actually Jason Stoots with ARS gave it to me because I am constantly there for feeders. Someone gifted him several……

Delilah is one tenacious widow. She took this giant mealworm straight from the tongs, then spent the next hour wrestling with it to subdue it. Mealworms are quite strong and seem somewhat resistant to widow venom, so it was quite the battle. She’s just now settling in to actually eat it.
