I keep 4 boas as of now and plan to get more. Additionally I have a female corn snake. Also I plan to get a female Olive in the future, and I am excited about that.
Right. I’m sure with all the legislation down there, finding a retic is near impossible and I know a lot of them are being sold and shipped out of the state. I have family in cocoa beach that tried getting me to move down there and I told them with my snakes, there’s no way I’ll be doing that. And boas are a great way to gain experience. Before owning retics and burms, the best experience I gained at home was with a 12 foot, very temperamental red tail. And the olive python would be really cool. I’ve never seen one in person and I know they still get a pretty good size and seem to stay relatively slender like a retic. That is very exciting.
Yeah, with how the legislation is I doubt that I will ever get a retic but one can hope. Thanks for the encouragement, it always. If I ever move out of state, I will be making sure that I move to a state that I can have them. Thank you again.
Absolutely! It was great talking with you. If that day ever comes get a hold of me and I’ll produce another sheba for you.
Thanks man, I will definitely remember that if it ever happens.
You do! Get a dwarf or superdwarf!
These pictures are from last year. Still to cold out side for new one. His name is Titan. I have had other retics but Titan is the only one I have now. He is just a family pet and a garage can when a boa will not eat. Gotta love retics feeding response.
Stunning snake!
My wife’s little boy, identifying as a rare Asian Gray Tree Python (AGTP)!
1.0 Anery 50% Kalatoa, 50% Jamp
Sire 7ft, Dam 8ft so we hope he stays relatively small, he’s super sweet and social.
He is such a good boy, loving his tree
He’s beautiful! Thats just the size I want to get, in the 8 foot range.
Love all these retics! Wish I had the space for one. I’ve got a 4’ x 2.5’ x 15" enclosure lying around, but I don’t think a retic would fit in there. One day!
Beautiful snakes!!
