Definitely beautiful animal @roy200079 Roy! Those guys are going to make some beautiful babies that I can’t wait to see!
Amazing color and contrast! Good luck with that project! Should produce some great looking and colorful babies!
Thanks everyone! Question I noticed female Christmas mountain front nose plate left side from camera view looks little different she was never injured or anything just look different from the right side etc maybe soem just develope looking like that?
Unless she recently just started pushing, I would think she was just born that way!
No pushing shes super mello in her home unless you mess with her I agree I think its her genetic make-up.
Here’s another picture of recently acquired big yearling female pine I like this picture of her coiled up had to clean poo out of her cage from her past week meals!
Super nice colors and markings! She will be great in a breeding project!
Yes for sure with her growth rate and gentics she should be close to 6 feet by spring / May we will see I will post pics of her then LOL.
This is weird this picture was taken about month ago must be the angle and lighting in this pic its completely normal and I know she doesn’t do rubbing shes chilled snake she burrows a little but thast it!
Awwwwww Look at that pretty little face!
Sadly I could not complete this deal financially, Ive spent to much lately . Hopefully he finds a good home. I do still have the male Christmas mountain gopher. Maybe best decision for now let female grow as much as possible she’s around 6 feet right now with incredible build / weight.
I’m referring to earlier posts about the male bull I was going to buy and breed to my female Christmas mountain.
Well that has happened to probably most of us at one time or another! No big deal, like you said you have the female and it’s a lot easier and takes less time to grow up a male to breeding maturity!
Hercules is in deep shed cycle I will post a good pic of him with his amazing color hopefully by the weeknd.
What a handsome boy! Or should I say young man!
Hercules shed today its amazing how much he has grown in about a month or so! If you look at previous pic’s I posted of him!
in size. He will soon be moved to a 6×2 permanent home!
Mr. Herc is one magnificent boy! You are doing a fantastic job @roy200079 Roy!
We see the full belly! really colorful animal! Those reds!
Got some outside shots of my pair of red/orange bulls with a fresh shed yesterday.
These two were produced by a visual red hypo stillwater x normal het stillwater hypo (supposedly). The seller said he didn’t get any definitive hypo stillwater hatchlings in the clutch so either the het stillwater did not prove out or it was het for trumbower hypo (not compatible). These two definitely have some visual characteristics of a stillwater hypo, especially the lighter female with pronounced dark bands around the saddles, but I’ve never seen any that have this particular look so I am leaning towards them just being very light orange/red bulls.
Curious if anyone has come across a bull that was definitely a visual stillwater hypo with this look?
Either way, hopefully the orange/red keeps coming in like it has over the first few months.
Awesome looking bulls! I have baby female Kingsville red / orange as well shr just shed couple days ago and had a meal yesterday I will post pic of her maybe tomorrow night !
