I think I’ll do a separate piece with moths later, they deserve to shine on their own!
Thank you for the suggestions!!

That makes perfect sense. They’re similar but different.
WHEW this one took over 3 hours from start to finish, but the modern dinosaur piece is done!
Left, top to bottom: Great Blue Heron, Frigate Bird, Rooster, Chickadee
Middle, top to bottom: Harpy Eagle, Lammergeier, Shoebill Crane, Hummingbird
Right, top to bottom: Common Loon, Cassowary, Canada Goose, Gouldian Finch
WOW, that is amazing, if that were a poster or like on the back of a t shirt, I would 100% buy that
Thank you!! RedBubble’s shirt and poster options are real stinkers, but I AM looking to eventually start up my own website, and might be able to do things like my own stickers, shirts, posters, etc…eventually haha
For now, just RB stickers, but soon!
Edit to add, RB won’t even give me a poster option for this one for some reason, ugh. But tbh the pillow is weirdly delightful lol
Love these modern dinosaurs. The harpy eagle is so ridiculous looking head-on. That image reminds me of Mirahoute (spelling?) In "Rescuers Down Under. "
And, oh fish! I meant to order a mug and I didn’t. Need to make that happen.
I would take that pillow in a heartbeat. I think it absolutely is great
I mean the pillow is available haha, genuinely not sure about RB pricing v.s. quality on their fabrics, but I can say I bought my mama some RB socks and they are pretty good quality!
At least the harpy kinda looks grumpy or powerful, bald eagles head on look so anxious and I really relate to that
At least it’s not a crested caracara head on, they look very silly and mildly surprised when viewed head on. Any respect they previously had as a predator is out the window.
So, follow up to the ocean sunfish. Did anybody know they could breach? Because I sure didn’t know they could, and if you’d asked me about it three days ago, I would have told you it was physically impossible for such an awkward animal to launch itself out of the water like a graceful whale.
But yesterday while kayaking out at Santa Cruz Island…I saw an ocean sunfish breach. It fully launched its whole weird body out of the water, then awkwardly flopped onto its side and disappeared into the depths. Weirdest (and coolest) thing I’ve ever seen out there.
Love the new artwork, @cmills!
That is so awesome…and weird lol
Are you sure you weren’t hallucinating? How is that even possible? To google!
I’m just imagining this flat fish sorta frisbeeing itself out of the water and belly (side??) flopping back into the ocean
The videos are really funny. You should totally watch some!
I’ll put it on my to-do list for after classes
I had to check online that this is actually a thing they’ve been observed to do, because even after seeing it, I didn’t quite believe it happened. My mom was with me, but she didn’t see it. I just happened to turn my head at exactly the right time and place to see the most awkward display in the Pacific.
That’s pretty much exactly how it was.
Google is being unhelpful and full of AI image results, so maybe you guys can help!
I’m looking for a reptile to reference who has some pinks on it! Preferrably with a darker base and pink accents. I’m not well-versed enough to know if there is a BP, boa, hoggie morph or totally seperate reptile that might look like this!
I’ve already used an agama for a previous dino, so unfortunately the easy pink option is off the table!
It is the absolute worst. I wish they had a option to get rid of the ai if you want to for a specific search.
There are some high pink leachies out there that are really cool. I have seen some panthers, lavender leopard geckos and some super snow leopard geckos also would work I think
