Oh yes, plenty of pictures, please!! That’s really wonderful! I was fortunate to travel some for work but never did so internationally.

That’s probably the best perk about grad school I’ve found so far - science conferences at this scale need to be in BIG buildings (the one I’m attending this fall has 40,000 members attending), which means they end up in some pretty cool locations! Plus with such a global science community, while a lot are in the US, they do often go overseas to help shift around who takes the brunt of the travelling - so neat!

@deanaii, I lost the natural lighting for good pictures (I’ll get the group picture in good lighting tomorrow), but here’s your lemon-lime!

Instead of doing an even split (although a split down the middle chimera design would SLAP), I made this a chimera/paradox dude, mostly lime with lemon paradoxing for spice (totally not because I only have 3 yellow-skewed colored pencils hahaha)

Here’s the gang in better lighting, I love them all but lemon-lime is probably my 2nd fav after oranges

I love them so much!! My favorite is definitely the lemon-lime one but my favorite colors are green followed by yellow so it makes sense lol.

Omg the isopods. So freaking cute I can hardly stand it.

I think you just gave me a craft idea to use at work. Assuming I have your permission to shamelessly steal ideas from you.

Of course you have permission lol! I’d love to see anything you create like this too!

Gosh, these are SO ADORABLE!! What kind of clay did you use?

Sculpey Premo Clay. It’s just oven-bake polymer clay and i think it works nicely

Thanks! Looks like it had lots of fun possibilities.

Realized I hadn’t posted here in a long while. So here’s the projects I’ve worked on in the meantime. Tyrannosaurus Rex sketch, journal experiment (excuse my terrible handwriting haha), and an idea a buddy of mine had for dinosaurs (and pterosaurs) being used as a form of transport and asked me to draw it up. Considering doing a bigger project soon, something more complete and detailed, one that I might spend days on instead of cranking it out on a couple hours

These drawings are great! Love the mounted pterosaur.

Love these!
I think I’ve stumbled upon the image you used for inspiration for the mounted pterosaur, love both versions!

Yeah, should’ve clarified that I used a reference for that one, my bad. The T Rex was the only one that was completely free hand no reference.
