A couple babies came out overnight. I’m not sure what’s going on with the one on top. It looks like a motley tessera, but that’s not possible with this pairing. So it’s either a stripe tessera with a non-standard presentation, or it’s just a really, really clean tessera. It has a clear belly as well. And I think it’s caramel? It’s kinda light for straight caramel.
So far it’s popping female, and her name is Jinx. I didn’t have time to set the other one up just yet, so I’ll add pics of that one later.

Interesting little ones. Jinx does indeed look like Motley Tessera Caramel! I’ve had a few Caramels hatch light over the years though of course most of them are darker. Pretty baby.

Another pretty tessera out. Tarot, probable female. I think this is just a normal tessera? Any of the not visual cinder babies will be 66% pos het instead, but I think this one is probably 100% het. We’ll see how she looks after her first shed.

And the last two are out! Another normal female tessera named Coven.
And another female caramel stripe tessera, Eldritch. Also the smallest of the clutch at a mere 9 grams. 
Really good clutch overall, with great baby sizes and good fertility. I am a little disappointed I didn’t get a cinder stripe tessera, though! I would’ve liked to see that. Oh well, all the caramel stripe tesseras almost make up for it!

Those caramel tessera stripes het cinder are just like my guy, Nacho, who is arguably my favori…who am I kidding. I can’t pick a favorite, which is why I have so many, but he’s definitely at the top! Beautiful babies. Sorry you didn’t get a tessera stripe cinder.
