Proven
This has gene has been proven to be allelic with Albino and Candy/Toffee on many occasions.
We have been working with the gene for over 7 years completing multiple pairings to the point where we have now proven out het Dark Matter animals by breeding and producing visual double het Albino Dark Matter (aka. Dark Sun) animals
Unique
This gene has been proven to be compatible with Albino and Candy/Toffee when it has no Albino features at all in the way it looks, no yellows or whites and no red eyes, but when bred with an Albino and Candy/Toffee to outcome is quite spectacular.
Problems
No known issues
History
The gene was picked up at a local pet shop in 2018 with 1.2 odd looking animals which later transpired to have been produced by Tyron Brown in 2013, but unfortunatley he had lost the project.
After breeding 1.1 of the animals all offspring apart from 1 looked exactly like the parents the other animal hatched was an Albino.
After breeding some of the animals to other snakes that did not contain Albino or Candy/Toffee genes we were unable to produce replicas of them, but when breed to a Albino or Candy/Toffee no normlas were produced all animals were either Albino, Candino or copies of the 1.2 that we had picked up from the local pet shop.
After a few years of breeding we had come to determine that the 1.2 we had picked up were all in fact visual double het Albino Dark Matter aka. Dark Sun.
